The vision of Kviteseid Lutheran Church is to grow and send disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, to serve in families, communities and the world, witnessing to the love of God and the empowerment of Christ's Spirit.
Kviteseid offers many ways to get involved in the church, community and world. Education for all ages is offered.
Youth groups include the Kviteseid Kids (younger ages) and Luther League (High School age) who are involved throughout the year doing service projects and participating in church activities.
Other areas of group activities include Bible studies, prayer gatherings/small groups, quilting, packaging care boxes to send to military, pot lucks, prayer shawl ministry, Easter baskets & Christmas greetings to shut-ins and nursing home residents, Adopt-a-Highway, serving goodies at nursing homes and more.
Milan is a small town in western Minnesota. It has deep roots in the Scandinavian heritage and has recently become more multicultural and diverse. We host one of the largest Syttende Mai celebrations every year in May. People come from all over the country to visit our little town and surrounding areas. Our landscapes are rich in farmlands, lakes and hunting areas.
This video was put together in May, 2014. It's made up of various pictures. You will see some of the projects Kviteseid currently or has done like Adopt-a-Highway, serving pies at the nursing home, quilting and the Syttende Mai Tea celebration. There are also some church photos of remodeling and work being done in the building. And some of our youth activities.
